If you or your friend can’t attend the event, but your friend doesn’t have access to the portal, no worries! You can easily exchange or resell both your ticket and your friend’s ticket in just one simple step — quick, easy, and hassle-free

Solution

Both the resell management and exchange screens of the ticketshop have been improved to include the tickets of the user’s Friends&Family (F&F) connection.

Supports both ticket owner modes: Cultural Contact and Buyer Contact.

The F&F connection allows a user to act on behalf in the following cases:

Cultural contact owner mode

Tickets for which the user is the cultural contact.
NEW Tickets for which the user is both the buyer contact and the “F&F parent” of the cultural contact.

Buyer contact owner mode

Tickets for which the user is both buyer contact and cultural contact.
NEW Tickets for which the user is both the buyer contact and the “F&F parent” of the cultural contact.
NEW Tickets for which the user is both the cultural contact and the “F&F child” of the buyer contact.

Getting started

Configuration

To allow resale and exchange on behalf of F&F, the point of sales parameter must have either “Allow purchase on behalf of my friends/family” or “Allow ticket transfer to friends/family” must be enabled.

The contact can act on behalf of the F&F connection, if consent has been given.

Ticketshop

Assuming user A is the F&F parent of user B, but not user C. User A buys 3 tickets, keeps ticket 1, assigns ticket 2 to user B and transfers/distributes ticket 3 to user C.

Cultural contact owner mode

User A can resell/exchange ticket 1 and ticket 2.
User B can resell/exchange ticket 2.
User C can resell/exchange ticket 3.

Buyer contact owner mode

User A can resell/exchange ticket 1 and 2.
User B
User C cannot resell/exchange ticket 3 but can only return ticket 3 to user A.
